Help me ID this Randall!

To start, apologies if this isn't the right place to post this, it's my first time posting on here so go easy on me lol.
The company I work for recently purchased the last of Larry Vickers' surplus collection. We've helped him sell a good many of his firearms over the last 3 years and among the last batch of things we purchased from him was a batch of Randall Made knives. My knowledge of these blades is very limited other than they're highly sought after and have a lot of history behind them. Anyway, I was given the opportunity to buy one of the knives from the company and this was the one I'll be posting a picture of. Any info is greatly appreciated!
 
#1 W/Border Patrol handle,skull krusher butt?(surely someone more knowledgeable will be along shortly) thats my WAG
 
I agree, the jimping looks non standard too. I have never seen a skull crusher butt like that on a Randall, I'm not saying they don't exist, I just never saw one. Send a picture to Randall they can probably help.
 
I appreciate the responses! I kinda figured it was a model 1 but I couldn't find good pictures of one with the same hilt or handle
 
Model 1, Single Finger Grip Handle (they shorten this to SFG sometimes), NS Single Hilt, Thumb Notches. The knife under it is a (Wayne) Buxton dealer special.

The knurling on the finger / thumb groove is uncommon, most leave it smooth, but it is a Randall option.

What is the blade length? Is the blade tang visible all the way down the top of the handle like a #14, #15, & #16? It could be a model #1 or a model #16 Special Fighter with a Single Finger Grip Shaped Handle, a Nickle Silver Single Hilt, and Thumb Notches. The model #16 Special Fighter was a non-catalog knife for several years and that hilt and thumb notches are standard options on the model #16.
