Help me identify this Anza Bowie...

I recently acquired this Anza Bowie in a trade and couldn't find anything like it on the Anza website. I think it is a very early model. The handle is stamped "Anza" and "83". 1983? The handle on this knife is pinned whereas the newer ones are glued on. The blade is 5 3/4 inches which doesn't match anything on the website either. Has anyone else seen this particular model? I know they're not worth much, but do you think that it's worth more than your run of the mill Anza? Thanks, Shane

My Anza was made in 1991 when I got it; it has a very similar shape but is longer in the blade, and the handles are not pinned. I do not recall the model.

Identified (in case anyone was interested)! Mr. Charles Davis of Anza has informed me that this knife is from one of the first lines he produced called the "Safari" line. He only used 3 pins in the handles for 1-2 months. Then 1 pin in the ivory micarta towards the front, then no pins at all. He said it is VERY collectable and gave me a figure that shocked me. Needless to say, I am very pleased with my trade!
