Hello fellow forumites,
I recently purchased a 3" BM bali. From the description of seller I awaited a BM 35, but it looks slightly different. Blade3" mirror finish, pins are flush with handles, holes are countersunk, blade is utility type with NO swedge. Tang stamp says benchmade USA other side is the Butterfly Bali-Song logo.
Any info would be appreciated.
Here a fairly bad scan...

Looks like a BM68 to me. Nice knife, it looks like its in good condition. How much did you pay? (if you don't mind me asking)

Yep, a beautiful 68. A great find, ditto ChungSan's question (if you don't mind).

HOw much did you pay? It seems like a lot of people have been getting 68's lately for the same price as a 35 (Around $150 or so).

Thanks for your quick answers, never heard of a BM 68 before. Is this an older one?
The knife is in overall good condition, has not been sharpened, no damage to the blade, no scratches on the handles only a very fine line on the inside of the latch handle and a few nicks on the latch due to manipulation. It flips very well. Came with original sheath but no papers or box. Price was slightly under $100. So maybe a good find

.Is this knife a more common or more rare one? And to me it seems then that the only difference to the BM35 is the blade type? I'm very happy with this knife as it happens to be my first one with steel handles. Already have a 42 and it flips also very well but is a bit large for EDC. Guess BM is the way to go...
