Hi guys
Recently I bought a Gerber fixed blade because the price was right and it was an unknown model to me, so I found it unusual. It was the only one that the dealer had and he didn't have the right box, nor could he identify it.
It's a fixed blade of stainless steel and is quite a few years old. Blade length is a little under 4" if I remember correctly (I don't have it with me now) and the blade section closest to the handle is serrated, about 30% of the length of the blade. The entire knife is one piece of steel except for the clip. There is a cutout in the handle section and there's a spring-steel clip that rests in the cutout which looks as if it could be used to clip the knife to a bacpack or some other gear. On one side of the handle GERBER is stamped, on the other side ITALY. I found the Italy marking very interesting cause that was news to me. On the blade is an inscription "Design by Blackie Collins". The knife has no sheath , but the dealer suggested that it could be a dive knife of sorts.
Can anyone assist me in identifying the knife?
