Based on the remaining label, my guess is that the handle is a replacement made by Bruner-Ivory Handle Co. (of Hope, Arkansas), which had a "Blue Diamond" brand of hickory handles, according to this book from 1966:

You always amaze me Steve.

Sometimes I get lucky, sometimes I don't. The label had what looked like a blue diamond, and the word "Handle", so I looked for a replacement handle company with the Blue Diamond brand. Bingo.

I'll usually give a search 5 minutes to see what can be uncovered. The motivation is to increase the collective knowledge base, and have a reference here in case something similar shows up later.

We appreciate the effort, Steve. There is no one with better instincts for this than you.
