I got this Centofante in trade today, I don't know much about it, it was thrown in to even it out.
It has no box or papers, it Has what i think are aluminum handles , with some sort of rubber insert, ATS34 steel, made in Golden Colorado, USA (No mention of the planet), partially serrated blade.
Just curious, what model is it?
When did it come out? How long did they make it?
Any Idea on value? is this a collectible? It's used but cared for, pretty decent shape.

Just my impressions of the knife if anyone is curious, it's a very light knife at 2.45oz, prety comfortable in hand lends itself well to chocking up on the blade, I like the feel of the rubber traction inserts. The deployment hole is a bit small, and the shape of the knife to not lend itself to flicking it open. The liner lock does not engage unless you push the blade completely open, so opening it carelessly and quickly may cause issues. However, the access to the liner lock is very comfortable and easy.
The aluminium is nice, but I prefer Benchmades like on their 940.

1st generation C25 Centofante, also came with blue anodizing and a blue Kraton inlay, and grey with a green Kraton inlay. Introduced in '94, replaced by a G-10 handled version in '97. Has the distinction of being the only Spyderco ever offered with a fileworked backspacer.

ill give you 50 for it lol

I was not inviting offers. I like the knife, and have as of about 2 years ago been a big Spyderco fan, so it's nice to have an older one. But I was just curious how much they go for. Are they rare?

It is great having Paul on here. He is like a living reference manual on Spyderco.

Great pics. Wish I had that blue one. It would have been nice to have the box also, a little piece of Spyderco history.

But I geuss in a number of years my current Spydercos will be the older discontinued classics.
