Hey,

I've been looking extensively for a new Swiss Army Knife that would suit me and I came across this photo. The problem is that I don't know which model that is or even if it is an existing model (might be home modified).

SAK experts out there, what do you say? Which one is this? I've got cookies :D

The one you've got pictured is the Victorinox OHT - One Hand Trekker, also called the Trailmaster, although I don't remember mine having two philips on it, with the one on the end being odd... :)

There are also two another things differencing it from the Trekker/Trailmaster. It has scissors and from the look of it...4 layers like i.e an Outrider. Trekker is only supposed to have 3 layers.

I did a quick snoop and couldn't find anything like it. I'm guessing that its been modded, especially with those dualing phillips, but it could just be a model I'm not familiar with. One of the freaks (and I mean that in a good way) at multitool.org would know whats up.

My guess is it's a mod. Otherwise it's a (special) Outrider. There was a camo Outrider with the dual phillips but it did not have the one hand opening blade.

what did you pay for it also was it new or used please??

I would buy that in a second if it's a factory version. The only reason I don't have a OHT right now is lack of scissors.

I do not have it. It was a picture on a forum.

I found an older forum thread with one that was modded with scissors, and has the corkscrew instead of the back layer phillips...

Cool that you can apparently do it with "outside"-scissors as well. Thanks for the link.

Yeah me 2, hence my search. I did find out what it was though. I'll make a new post about it.

I know what it is now! I'm sad to report that it is indeed modded. But I know how it was made. It is actually three layered apparently (not four as I thought, but it sure looks like 4 on the picture I'd say). He used the Trekker/Trailmaster and added scissor and philips from an Outrider.

The other forum thread where I found the picture was a few months old so I didn't think anyone (least of all the one who posted the picture originally) would answer. But he did! :D

The maker described it like this for those interested (it had four layers, not three as I wrote before):

"you really did your research you're correct this is one-hand trekker with the scissors & small philips layer from the outrider. it really baffles me why victorinox doesn't sell this very versatile combination of tools." - Overclocker

"it's got 4 layers. not easy btw. take note outrider is from a different platform the "slider lock" series which have thinner brass pins so you'd have to enlarge the holes to make them compatible with the liner-lock models. good thing victorinox steel is a softer steel so i only ruined 4 HSS drill bits

then the brass pins aren't your standard off the shelf sizes so i had to turn them down to the proper thickness" - Overcloker
