Can anyone help with with single bit identification? It is a 3.5 lb head.

Looks a lot like some of the Collins that are in hardware stores these days. Definitely not much vintage there.

After looking at photos on the Internet, I think you are right cooperhill. The steel seems hella hard. It is getting a vinegar bath. I think I will make it my thrasher axe.
