Help Me Identify This Tom Brown Tracker Knife

Hello all. I am completely new to the world of knives. However, I am trying to identify a knife that was recently given to me. On the blade it clearly reads "Tom Brown Tracker". (Note: Does not say Tops anywhere on the blade, handle, or sheath)
However, the blade is metallic and shiny, and the handle is black with brown swirls, it appears to be made of some sort of wood. Also, there is a little hole on the bottom of the handle that allows for a smaller knife to fit. The sheath also says Tom Brown Tracker on it, but it is leather or some sort of hide. There is also string attached to it.

The total length of the blade is about 8.25", and cannot recall the total length but if someone would like I can post it.

I am asking this because I have done significant research now on the Tom Brown Tracker knife. The one that I have is clearly NOT the one manufactured by Tops, which has a black kydex sheath, a grey blade, and a white-grey handle. I know that the Tracker knife has been made by many other knifemakers, but these would have different markings on the blade.

After doing some googling, I came across something that stated that old Tom Brown Tracker knives, before they were manufactured by Tops, had a leather sheath. Despite this, I have not been able to find this brand and style knife anywhere on the internet.

I have embedded many pictures to try and help solve this mystery. I'm hoping someone on the forum is able to identify the knife.

Thanks in advance!

This is your knife? The same pictures are being used at the auction site.

Cheap sheath, weird sawtooth pattern, concave grind on the "axe" part of the blade, weird "trisula" grind on the back of the blade, micarta doesn't look good either. I could be wrong, for me it looks like a China-made Tracker-wannabe knife.

Does that handle have a hollow slot in the end of it? It resembles a copy I have seen on flea bay that holds a smaller knife in the handle.
It looks like a cheap copy to my untrained eye.

its a chinese copy of the tom brown tracker. Its got a hollow handle i suppose with another small knife inside. You can find these on ebay just by searching "tracker knife"

Thank you for your quick replies.

Yes, the pictures are being used on eBay because I am selling the item on eBay. However, it looks like I have to cancel the listing because
1. It may not be a legitimate product.
2. At the very least, it is not manufactured by Tops.

I am somewhat surprised by your conclusions, though, as from what I understand, Chinese knock-off brands would not include the logo and name "Tom Brown Tracker" (Instead something like Tim Brand Trekker). Yes, there is a small hole in the handle to put a smaller knife so if that solidifies it as a fake, thank you for helping me avoid a nasty interaction online.

It's actually not surprising at all that completely counterfeit knives (including the real manufacturer's name and logo) are on ebay. There are many examples.

Actually, if you look really closely at the inscription it reads "Tom Braun", so I guess the case is closed. It is a known imitator according to Google, but still is of decent quality. Thanks everyone for your time.

For the sake of curiosity, if you ever put the knife to use let us know if its performance is "decent quality"?
