Help Me Identify?

Can anyone help me identify this knife? My uncle brought it home from the South Pacific during WWII. The sheath is wood (bamboo) as is the blade handle. There are no markings or other inscriptions. Sheath is 20 inches from tip to tip. Knife blade is just under 12" The handle is 7"
