Help me indentify a knife by a crude drawing of the clip :)

I saw this clip on a knife in my archery instructor's quiver, and another person today, and from the looks of it, it's a 4.5+" 3.5+" knife, black handled (this all in a week, don't ask me why I didn't ask either of the 2 people).

My archery instructor also had a smaller black knife (probably 4" 3") that looked a lot like a Leek, even the clip, but the clip came to the end up of the handle (tip down).

Anyways, if no one can help, I'll just ask my instructor next week when I next see him.

(Sorry about the size of the image, I figured it would be smaller when hosting it, and I have no idea how to make thumbnails here.)

Wow, that's a doozy. I've seen lots of people ask what some generic knife is based off of one picture... never seen someone ask based on a drawing of... just the pocket clip. Good luck.

is this it?

That is a Bladetech Wegner Pro Hunter Lite, built at the Haribo-Mo factory in Seki, Japan at 3:35 pm on Monday January 15th, by Takao Iwamoto on assembly line #5. It has a small blemish on the reverse side of the blade where Takao accidentally let it bump into the belt as it was running. The 3rd screw to the right on the pocket clip has a slightly off-center phillips "+" as compared to the other two. The middle screw holding the nylon handle slab to the liner is loose.

Ahh ... I think I should move this last reply to the Torz Johnson Fantasy Identification Forum in hopes of getting a biit more information on the knifemaker's neuroses.

Well, thanks for the comedic responses... I figure it's a Walmart knife, but I'll see...

I would suggest, ASK THE ARCHERY INSTURCTER. ;) be the best way to find out. that shape of clip has been used on many knives I think, and I have seen at least three or four with the same shape.

Yes, like Redsox, I instantly thought: Camillus EDC, BUT if I'm not mistaken, it was never made with black handle...

I think they did make an anniversary edition of the EDC with a black handle and gold-anodized screws.

The knife you're seeking is a Columbia Knife And Tool Falcon. The clip is nearly identical to the one in your drawing.

They are discontinued, but can be found in the usual places.

That looks damn close, but I think the holes were bout same size, and a bit more curve on the clip... I'll just have to ask I suppose...

That drawing looks a lot like the aliens that landed by my barn last week.

If you track them down, can you ask them to return my cat?

Besides the CRKT Falcon, I've seen that exact clip on several different knives..... all were No-Name, El-Cheapos. :thumbdn:
