Welcome to Bladeforums! As the fellows over in the Throwers forum here can tell you, balance is not really a problem in throwing a knife. The balance point determines what its most natural half-spin (etc.) distance is, but you can throw any knife and make it stick. The problem is some knives will break -- if not immediately then eventually, from the constant pounding if you throw it a lot. So what you need is a knife that meets your other needs and is tough enough to stand the impacts.
How often are you going to be throwing it? If you don't intend to do a lot of throwing practice with that knife toughness is not such a problem; a lot of hunting knives can stand a little throwing, just not thousands of throws. If you do want to throw it a lot, though, your best bet is to look at knives designed specifically for throwing and choose one that meets your other needs.
