I have always wanted a Randall Model 18 because to me that is what a knife should look like, however I have a desire for a Sebenza because I would use it everyday all day long. I would carry the Randall in my bag but honestly would only use it once a month at the most. For the price of a Randall from the Bay or anywhere for that matter I could get a Sebenza and a Green Beret. It's still not the Randall 18. How do I get over this? I think I can afford the Sebenza and the Randall but I don't think I want to spend that much. If I could get the 18 for $450 I might do it but I don't think I will ever find one for less than $600. I would love one of the one piece Reeves but they are not nice looking to me. I must be missing something when I look at them. I need to go back and look more. Help me.

randall made is not going anywhere. is there any urgency to having both now?

you said it yourself, you will use the sebenza every day, the randall only occassionally.

get the sebbie, then save again, and get the randall. the green beret is a great knife, but i think you will be settling because of the price disparity. wait and get what you really want.

Get the Sebbie, then order a Randall from Randall, there is a long waiting list!

Hard to beat a CRK fixed blade in the field though. the performance difference won't be that different, but its what your heart wants and if you want a Randall that bad i would save up and buy one.

My advise is to buy a sebenza and not the green beret. Instead save up the left over cash and put it towards a randall a little later.

I'd go with a green beret over a randal personally. but considering your tastes and wants just work out what makes you happiest

Get the Seb' now and save for the Randall. ( Why an #18? Look at a #15 , much more comfortable handle options.)

Get the Sebenza now...use it...and wait to make your decision later on the other two after you have the funds in hand.

I have the funds, I just don't want to wait the 58 months. I could pay an extra 220 and not wait wait but that is almost ridiculous. That is why I won't get a Busse.
