So Milsurp bayonet vs new Italian steel....or are there better cheap ones on the market. 1st knife purchase, I have 2 guns but I cant have them in my car and I need something for protection, better safe then sorry heh in these times.

Maybe something else you guys can recommend?
Well I have a Yugo ak47 m70 underfolder so im kinda leaning towards the bayonet so I can show off to my friends sometimes I guess...but its a hit or miss when I read the reviews.

Spend $4 on tacos from taco bell. Break the shells into sharp pieces to stab your attackers. You will be better off than with either of those knives ;)

Just my .02 on this, but a knife should not be used as self defense except in the utmost extreme circumstances. If it comes down to a knife, your best bet is to use your feet and get out of there. Most guys carry a knife for everyday use things, not protection. I don't know you or your background, but I wouldn't have delusions of knife fighting. If you want some personal protection, maybe look at getting your CCW or some mase or even take some hand-to-hand self defense classes.

Back to the topic, I wouldn't waste the money and shipping on either. For a first knife, look at a classic Case knife or a Spyderco Delica or a Mini-griptilian. Something that will actually be useful in daily life.

Well I don't know my budget is kind of 20$(yeaa I value my life @20$ :) )...I just don't want to spend a lot on something what is an imitation of maybe just better quality especially with today's prices money is kind of tight

I have no use for a knife in my daily life so yea...

But yea like I said self-defense in my car, never know what is going to hit you and I don't want to get a
concealed carry license..or am I just better off putting a hatchet or a hammer under the seat?

I need something what I can get out fast and easy...I guess ill still take switchblades and folders though but yea this is why I came here

SO SCHOOL MEH

If you like baseball carry a bat and glove in the car. If you like hockey carry a stick and a puck in the car.
That way you have a sporting goods device that just happens to be in the car from the game or practice yesterday. A good old tire iron fits the bill too! ;) Just in case you have a flat tire.

P.S. The Romanians made and make some damn fine firearms. I would pass on that Bayo though.

yea i agree with cards94. if its just for your car... steel pipe... aluminum baseball bat. something where you dont have to be as close to someone as you would be when using a knife to defend yourself.

I carry a 2X4 named "Big Jim" behind my seat and I have my 2lb axe in my truck bed under my box. And I have my EDC Benchmade 760 on me. I'd suggest if you want protection, a pipe, baseball bat, axe handle, hammer, anything heavy and blunt would fit the bill.

Never purchase any of those knives on those web sights you have listed, if your reason is for self-defense. Better of carrying a beer bottle and breaking it over someone's head, or make your own pepper spray.
