The Blackjack model 14 is pretty much the knife of my dreams, I have tried it and used it, I just never got hold of one for myself. That said, it is also very expensive where I live, and for that price I could get other very nice ones too.

I am slowly but surely getting there (Mod.14 is about 400$ where I can get it) and the more money I save the more doubts are starting to raise.

First of all, It is a decent amount of money, second, pretty much any knife I like and have available for purchase in my area is also in that price range.

Third, I also really like Fallkniven F1 in 3G steel which, while a little less, is also around that quantity. This one seems more practical although it is not the same thing at all.

Third, I just discovered that the Bark River Bravo 2 exists, and I also quite like it.

I guess I'll end up selling crap I have around and buying the F1 anyways, but what really bugs me is the Bj vs the BR.

I know Blackjack IS Bark River, but I have serious doubts between the two. Mod.14 would be without finger cutouts, and Bravo 2 is not available where I live, but speaking of such quantities of money I honestly dont mind waiting or seriously looking hard for one.

So, can anyone help me out? I have serious serious doubts about this one.

This is just a question of which style you like best. Quality will be equal and both are fantastic knives. The Blackjack Classic blades are styled after Randall Made knives Model 1, 14, 15.
