So, I have this knife. Its a Browning FDX 1 (684) still in the box. The best I can tell, its a Tops Cochise with a black epoxy coating and some woody micarta scales. Thats about all I know. I cant find a lot of info on it. I got it NIB from a guy at Camp Buckner during a sniper comp. Now, Ive got everything from ESEEs and Fallknivens to Moras, SAKs, and Condors (and a lot in between); however, Ive been on a more custom kick lately. Im really enjoying some of the great custom pieces produced by various members of this forum, so here is the question
.
Do I strip this thing down, craft a fine leather sheath for it, and send it off for some nice custom scales ***OR*** do I sell this thing (if so, for how much) and just buy another custom blade from the exchange? I'm torn, so please help me out.
By the way, if its to be kept, who can recommend someone for some nice G10 scales?
As always, thanks folks! Wooly
