I am looking for my first slip joint knife and i am quite picky about it. I know nothing about slipjoints but i am looking for something a litte fancy i guess you can say. Im not sure how to describe it but i would like some etching on the blade and am also lookig for one that the nail nick has little teeth in it. i cant seem to find anything. ive searche here on bf and google. cant find anything. much help appreciated. im not trying to spend more than $100. thanks. can you post pics too please
 
Search Eye Brand Knives. I think some of them have the blade etch and the match strike pulls you are looking for.

The teeth on the nail nick is known as a "matchstrike pull". For a classy knife with matchstrike pulls and etching on the blade, check out Fight 'n Rooster knives (Frank Buster's Celebrated Cutlery).
 
You might also want to check out some of the offerings from Bulldog Brand.
 
For some reason i didnt think that the knives with a match pull and are quality products were rare. One of my other conditions is American made.....if possible. Does anyone have experience using a match pull. Im assuming its for strike anywere matches and since I smoke, I think it would be um...classy...(if i can use that word) to use the match pull on my knife and matches to light my cigarettes and the occasional pipe( I really enjoy Vanilla Royale by Altadis)
