i am pretty sure i have this knife...BLACKJACK EK RARE VINTAGE MAMBA FIGHTER KNIFE

http://cgi.ebay.com/BLACKJACK-EK-RA...ltDomain_0?hash=item2557b42218#ht_2710wt_1167

i have this exact knife here except my mine has no logo. my father got it at a steal of a price for me when i was about 14 y/o because someone dropped it and the tip broke also his best friend owned the gun store it was at. i used alot of semi chrome get the scratches off and it now has some rust. is there a way to find out if they produced one with out a logo maybe as a test run. i mean everything on my knife is the exact same. blade , handles, screws, everything. i know mine is not worth near what these are just based of the tip breaking and what not but i always thought it was a awesome knife and knew it was a blackjack cause of the box but i lost it a good while ago so i wasn't sure on the model.

my next question where i need more help. can anyone recommend a good knifemaker or place to send it off to to have it refinished and the tip touched up. i would take pictures but my camera is in the shop for the next couple days.

thanks in advance for any help on these questions as i know the vast majority of you guys are much more knowledgeable than i am when it comes to this stuff

I thought that design was very appealing wehn i was younger. I remember lookng at the mamba and anacondas repeatedly.

I bought one in the late 80s,at a mall in Portland,Oregon. It was made of carbon steel and had a convex edge.I gave it to a friend, who still has it.Mine looked pretty much like that one does, don't recall the Ek part of it.

Blackjack has some intertwined history with the Ek name, I seem to remember, but it's a bit hazy... Mike Stewart can tell you all about it.
