Help me Pick a Damascus Blade for my Mammoth Bark Small 21

I've contacted CRK to place an order from some Damascus! It will go on my small mammoth bark 21. My choices are ladder, raindrop, and basketweave. I'm having trouble deciding but leaning towards the raindrop. What does everyone think? I'd love to see some pics also. Thanks!
 
Personally I like the Raindrop. I do think certain styles of Damascus look better on different knives. (Sorry for the crappy pic - it looks better in person.)

I think the raindrop is the safest bet sight-unseen as it is the most random. The ladder and basketweave are both gorgeous, but I would want to see the blade first as some of them seem inconsistent in pattern to my eyes and that might bug over time. I dunno.
 
I had a basket weave at one time but I really didn't like it as much as I thought I would. I have a ladder inbound that I think I'll really like. Raindrop has been a little too random for my liking, but I see that some of the latest raindrop offerings are a lot tighter and a more consistent pattern.

Thank you everyone for posting pictures and offering their suggestions . I've always loved raindrop and I think this pushed me over the edge. For those of you curious, this was the response I got from CRK today...

The patterns we are taking orders on are Ladder, Raindrop ($285) and Basket Weave ($315). We are backordered about 12 months on all damascus.

I hope to place my order tomorrow. This is going to be a long year! Thanks again everyone for helping me make my decision.
 
i think you made a smart choice with raindrop, judging from the pictures i'd fear that ladder andbasketweave would interfer with the lines from the handles.
 
Thanks guys. The order went in this morning. Now the hard part....trying to forget I placed the order until next year!
 
Good choice, I like the raindrop the best too.

I was actually thinking about getting a damascus blade for one of my sebs as well, but I figure if I ever end up doing it I'll just buy a new plain Jane with a damascus blade and swap the damascus into my knife's handle and the s35 blade into the plain janes handle and resell that one as what it is, a plain Jane with a lightly used s35 blade.

Less time, and I think less money too;)

Basket weave for me. I think it looks good with the micarta.
 
Its a toss up for me. Depending on the exact piece I am torn between basket and raindrop.
