Have a store credit I need to spend:

Following are what I have it narrowed down to. Note sure what I will use it for :)

1) benchmade 940-1501
2) benchmade presidio ii
3) Emerson Bowie sheepdog
4) Emerson Journeyman
5) ZT 0350

Gonna go against the flow; the Emerson sheepdog. I had one, sweet flipper. That's the one I regret trading off the most.

Right now I have a Rockstead Chi EDC a ZT 0620 I just ordered for my larger travel/bug out kit and a few yard work beaters: (cold steel ak47 Mini and Kershaw Redford model)

I could go 940 and save the chi for more special occasions or could go for one of the larger ones as more of a replacement for my current yard beater category.

Not the exact one you listed but you get the idea .

ZT 0350... I bought my older son (now 48) one about six yrs ago. He still carries it and loves it. I just sharpened it for him, but it is a great knife that can be used for heavy duty or casual use.
You can NOT hurt this knife. It is NOT fragile, and the lock-up is bank-door solid...
I've had quite a few BenchMades and carried one for office use for several yrs...The CPM-20CV steel in that BM 1501 is excellent and will hold an edge for a long time,...but it costs sixty bucks more than the ZT 0350. AND...you will likely have to send in your knife periodically to Benchmade for sharpening...(which never impressed me).

For that sixty bucks differencd, you can get the ZT ...AND... a Spyderco Triangle SharpMaker which will let you sharpen knives until the cows come home. I've had multiple BM's, Emersons and ZT's. ...ZT all the way.
Many of us here own or have owned the Sharpmaker, and it's an excellent piece of equipment...It will last you forever.
