I would like a new EDC knife, with a blade less than 3.5 inches, preferably smaller. Besides that, I dont have any other things that i need, except for the lock. It has to be able to close one handed. Like a liner lock or axis lock, or something like that. I will take any and all suggestions.

Thank you!
Colin

What is your typical use for an EDC, that does matter.

Opening packages, letters, whittling some, i might take it on a camping trip or 2, and whatever comes up throughout the day at work, but it would never be anything very strenuous.

go get yourself a full flat grind Spyderco Delica I think that would make a great edc for you, it's on the smaller side and well within your price range. If you would rather have a axis lock check out a Benchmade mini griptillian or maybe a Kershaw Skyline or Leek.

Can you close the Delica one handed? I know its a lock back, but have never had experience with them.

sounds like a benchmade 940 to me. they can be had an the exchange for around 100 if you wait, great edc blade.

how often do they come around? i havent seen one that low, if i dont see one soon, i might go with the delica

the action on delica's are really smooth, all you have to do it put your pointer finger right under the ricasso, push the lockback and flick forward, the just pull it the rest of the way down with your thumb

the finger will keep it from completely closing so you have a secure grip and it wont cut you because the ricasso is unsharpened
