Help me pick my Christmas gift

Okay so my girlfriend is full time at university and works minimal hours. So to lighten any monetary obligation or stress on her for Christmas gifts I set a 50 dollar limit. I have always loved the dinner and everyone being together more than gifts, I love buying for the people I love but hate receiving gifts.

So I'm trying to decide what I should pick, she already told me what she wants. I'm really undecided because there is always stuff I want and will use so I'm hoping maybe you guys and gals can help narrow down some good choices of gear based on a semi flexible 50 dollar limit and maybe have a little discussion about the value of some of these items.

I was looking at a new axe/tomahawk. I have a pretty good axe fr Home Depot which is great for car camping, but it's handle is all metal so it's not something I'd carry if I was hiking out to a place to camp or anything. Not a full sized axe, the in betweener I know there are a lot of great choices out there.

I was also looking at a new camp cookware set, some of the pathfinder school ones come to mind with the canteen, cup, and stove.

Last but not least all I have for a sharpener now is one of those ceramic handle ones, they work alright but they strip away metal and make a new edge rather than hone a blade. I did some trolling through some older posts about sharpening tools and found some good advice and recomendations.

If any of the stuff is cheaper than 50 I could pair it up with the BK11 which I've been thinking about picking up. Obviously I have have items I've looked at but I'd like to get the hive mind opinion on some really good gear in these categories or possibly some cheaper options that work just as good. All input is greatly appreciated and one of the reasons I love coming here because there is a ton of knowledge from various backgrounds and applications to learn from. I remember back when I asked for a good knife recommendation and was told to get a BK2, couldn't be happier with the knife and really appreciate that recomendation.

Thanks!
Nate

Ditto on the Sharpmaker. A outdoor store that I went to every day had one at the knife counter and I used it on 1-2 knives every time I came in to keep them shaving sharp, the sales people used them to sharpen customer's knives that didn't need a complete rebevel, and the other customers used it quite a bit. It was there for over 4 years of constant use before they switched it out with a fresh one so that it looked nice. the rods were still in great shape when they retired it.

Thanks for the input fellas, I was looking at that one after doing some research through older posts on quality sharpeners that will give you a bang for your buck.
