Hesitant to vote for the G10. For me the decision would depend on two main factors: The ability to sharpen s35vn vs AUS10 with the equipment you have, and the tactile difference between G10 and GFN. They’re both tough enough steels for a hard use folder.

I agree with above. Although I’m a fan of S35, I’ve been pretty impressed with the ones I’ve got in AUS10, and I’ve never had any qualms with their Grivory (Griv Ex, polymer, whatever) as far as durability, but I do prefer their G10. I don’t think you’d be upset with either, but the Lite is less expensive if it’s just gonna be a beater.

Shop around . I see the AD10 for ~$100 and the Lite for $65 , but I have seen it cheaper .

Unless you're pressed for money , I'd spend the extra at the above price difference .

Both are great knives ! Hard to go wrong here ! ;)

Ended up going with the AD10 s35vn

….and a Voyager in Aus10a 😅

100% right the price difference is worth it for the g10 and (I assume) harder steel.

I feel bad for anyone who gets one of these as their first knife because the way it fills the hand, they’ll never find another knife that fits quite like this one. Very happy with it so far.

I like tantos, but I just don't feel like it's the right profile for the AD10 for some reason. I have the clip point version. Maybe if I had the tanto version it would change my mind.
