can not decide if fo rmy next folder if I want the Spyderco Captain or an
Al Mar Payara....

uses would be EDC nothing more...

just want a recurve folder

opinions please
 
I'm a big al mar fan, so I'd go for it. The fit and finish are excellent and I have that VG-10 they use on my SERE Operator, and it is amazing. Good company and customer service, too, but I've heard that Spyderco does too. The Captain looks nice and well spec'd, but a little geometric looking for my taste.
 
I don't know about the Al Mar, but the Spyderco Captain is out of production, so if you are interested, get one while you still can!
