help me please

hi i have been looking for a heavy duty camping knife for a while and i have limited my choices to these 4 knives:which do you recomend?

1.swamp rat Camp Tramp

2.swamp rat Battle Rat (i like big blades)

3.swamp rat Ratweiler

4.ranger knives READY DETACHMENT SERIES
 
I think I would choose the Ratweiler. The Battle Rat is a very blade heavy knife, which would make it very difficult to use for any delicate work.

Actually, many say that the most useful camp knife is a relatively small one, with a 3 1/2 to 4 inch blade. Such a knife paired with a hatchet or saw is a more useful arrangement for camping.

I personally am not to crazy about the lack of guards on the Ranger series.
 
All of those are good blades and I own model one two and all of the series of model 4 the RD I have no problems with the scales that Justin puts on the RD series. The grip rocks and I love to use the heck out of them. The RD series is hard to beat for the price you pay and the service you get. MURRAY
