I took apart my tenacious and i cant put it back together i have 3 bushings 1 big 2 small. the blade the pivot screw and 2 peices i think go in the middle. Please help if you own a tenacious and know how to take it apart please help. PLEASE!!

I apologize if this sounds like I'm being a smart ass, but make sure you have the pivot rotated properly. The scales and pivot both have a flat spot on one side. If those flats aren't aligned the pivot won't go in.

Pictures would help.

on the first and second is the is a piece in between the hand and the blade to the far left. Where does that go? i cant seem to tell

idk if u can see that

That would be the thong/lanyard hole. You're going to need to use a rubber mallet (or an eraser and a real hammer [non-sledge][lol]) and lightly tap it. If it doesn't work, then you can either:
A- lightly sand the outer circumference of the thong tube, followed by light tapping of the rubber mallet again, or
B- progressively tap harder with the rubber mallet

no guarantees with option B though.

I also recommend you abstain from installing the blade, pivot, and washers until the rest is pre-assembled.

thanks so much. With the pivot screw i just put it on the other side and it works fine and fits.

If you don't have a rubber mallet, just use any hammer but put something on top of the lanyard tube to protect it. Leather, rubber, folded cloth should all work fine as long as you just lightly tap.

Usually it only takes a very light tap to get the lanyard tube to drop in.
