So it's looking like I might be moving to London Washington DC within the next year. That said, I'm going to need to pick up some slip joints. I'm a big fan of Spyderco, so I can see an Urban or UKPK in my future. However, once upon a time I stumbled across a European knife maker/company (didn't look too much into the place itself at the time) that had some awesome modern looking slip joints made of quality materials. They had good blade steel (can't remember exactly, but it might have been S30V or at least something comparable), wooden and carbon fiber handle scales, and nice deep carry pocket clips.

I can't remember the name of them for the life of me, and I haven't been able to find them while searching here in the forums or on the net. I want to say the company's name started with an "E," but I could be wrong. Any thoughts?

EKA? they make some sweet slipjoints. There are also some reviews in the review forum from some of our European constituents that cover a bunch of different European makers that would be worth checking out.

It might not have started with an E. Heck, it might not even have been a European knife maker. However, the website that sold the knives in question only sold this one brand, and all prices were in either Euros or Sterling (again, didn't pay too much attention at the time since I never thought I'd actually buy one), so I assumed it was European of sorts.
