There's a used sebenza for $225 in the forsale not getting any attention. Sniff,
help me resist the urge to buy it.

I bought two this summer because they where offered at a great price. As it is I'm going to use gift money to upgrade clips and nylon pouches.

OTOH, I is I sell something I don't normally use anymore, than it's even a better deal.

yes dave....i too have been eyeing that used small seb for a few days and was about to get it when a new large without box showed up for 250.00 dollars...i ended up getting it...like i need another one!!...well lets see, at last count that makes four large and three small as well as one small unique decorated and lets not forget the umfaam and the two fixed blades i have.....go ahead and get it so i dont have to...thanks...feverdoc
 
And don't pay ANY attention to the 2000 Umfaan that's going begging at substantially less than list price. And even includes a G2 sheath.

I keep thinking the ones I have will last me a lifetime.

I've been looking at that Umfaan too, a couple years ago I tried one and it seemed just abit too small, but maybe my tastes have changed.

hmm, anybody interested in a Boye Cobalt Dive
knife? ( Only kidding, maybe )

I just found a picture of that Umfaan in the forsale forum at KnifeArt, so it looks like I'd save $30 + the sheath.

well dave, two of the large ones are always going to be mine as will two of the smalls (always have to have a back-up)....one of the large and one of the smalls will be for my son when he is old enough to appreciate them and take care of them...i will use the umfaan for dress occasions and will eventualll trade off or sell the small decorated and the other large....i just like them plain vanilla although i certainly do appreciate the fine graphics and wood inlays being done today....for me the seb is a work piece and a carry piece but i still get a woody looking at the nice decorated ones....i buy my knives to use daily and i couldnt bring myself to use a decorated...its art to be looked at but could be used if the need arises....feverdoc
