I am torn between purchasing either a KABAR Chopstick and Ontario SP8.

Both are pretty similar but the Ontario is much thicker has 1095 instead of SK5 on the Kabar.

Also how strong is each one?

Which ones do you guys recommend? Don't ask why I am buying this because I just want one.

If this is a matter of "want", then aquaman is correct.

I have handled the Chopstick, but never used it. I've used the SP8 extensively. Here's my review of it...

It can dig, saw, pry, and of course, chop. I carried one for a while when doing some dirty work, and I even donated three to local guys who were getting ready to ship out to Kabul. One was an Army tank crewman, and the other two were Navy pilots. Let's just say that the SP8s held up remarkably well.

Thanks, you have saved the day, will definitely be buying one then, sorry Kabar.
