Its my birthday in 2 days and im going to get an influx in income i also get paid the day before:D

Im going to get 1 (yes just one wish i could get more but i cant) Knife and put the rest into savings.

The 3 contenders are:

1) bob dozier KM12 ive always wanted a dozier and have always heard great things about them but ive never ordered directly from a custom maker before. does anyone know about what the turn around time for an order is and if i can pay up front on an order the idea of not paying imediatley on a knife id have commisioned has never sat well with me.

2) Busse Boss. i am addicted to busse knives but they all end up being safe queens due to their collectors value, not that its necessarily a bad thing i have plenty of rats to use :D

3) dalton automtic knife. its always a pleasure to get a new dalton and since im in the military i can carry one legally and dalton makes a great auto at an affordable price.

I guess im currently edgeing towards the dozier because ive heard great things about this man and his knives and i know that if somehow i end up putting it off until mr dozier passes on ill never forgive myself. im not assuming Mr Dozier will pass away anytime soon but I hear alot of the old timers on this forum talk about when they had the opportunity to buy so and so knife and either didnt or put it off and later regretted it a whole lot and mr doziers knives as ive stated earlier are often thrown around here on the forum as among the best. But of course i could always be swayed towards the Busse or the dalton.

Thanks for any info.

If you already own a Busse and a Dalton, why not switch things up and get a Dozier? Seems to be the easiest way to decide

I don't know how to recommend a knife without knowing what you want it for, but if I had to fly blind on this, I'd go with the Dozier. (Which I have, picked up a few in my time. :) )

I like the looks of the KM-12 Bowie. Not my own first choice, but we each have our own specific uses for these knives, and any Dozier is a good solid tool.

purpose will be general combat utility knife, im taking a rat RC-4 with me on deployment due to its relatively small size and great warranty but if the dozier ends up being something i cant live without it may go to afghanistan with me, more than likely though it will be a camping and survival blade. or it could end up in my collection of safe queens.
