Help me to chose a good fixed blade.

Hi

I have a knife to trade at the moment and I have 2 offers:

An Ontario Rat-7

A Swamp Rat M6, but I have to put some more money/knives.

What do you think about it?
 
Come on, wich one would be your pick:

Ontario RAT-7
Swamp Rat M6
Ranger RD-6 (or 7)
Scrapyard Scrapper 6
 
It doesn't really matter what I would pick -- it'd going to be your knife, so you must choose what you like...

m6, with the warrenty and if you dont like it you can re sell it. It is a win win!
 
The only one of the bunch I have is the RAT7 in D2. I picked D2 because it gets seashore duty. I'm pleased.

Personally, I’d do the Scrapper or RD7. I wouldn’t care for D2 is that style of knife.
 
I think a custom RD6 would be a good choice :)

I got in contact with Justin from Ranger Knives. Looking for what he could make.
 
I'd go with Ranger if money was an issue. If not, I'd go with the M6.

I've read about Justin's service and you guys were not kidding. He answered me fast.

Good service is something I really look for. That's why I chose places like NewGraham and Himalayan Imports.

It will be my first REAL custom :) (HI are like customs, but they were not made especially for me, I still love my HI khuks)


And Ignoramus, yes money is an issue.

Justin is fast on answers, and honest. I told him my needs and here was his answer:

"I hate to say it but the standard version would serve you well. I can't think of any mods that would be a benefit to you. Hope that helps. "
