I've bought this Gerber 10 or 12 years ago. What model is it? Of which steel is it made? I would say an AUS steel but not sure at all. Thanks for your help.

That was the "Magnum LST"
Steel was the famous "surgical stainless" that Gerber used to advertise. Never was sure of the actual alloy.
I used to carry a regular LST in the '80s. Steel performed on the order of soft 440A.
Thanks, I thought it could have been an AUS6 steel, the only one i could compare with the steel used for that knife. You certainly are right, it's a soft steel which doesn't hold an edge. The good point of this edge were the serrations, not too large for wood cutting.
