As I understand it, the Skinny ASH 1 was released back in 2008. Just recently there was an auction where the description stated that this particular Skinny ASH had been recently received directly from the custom shop - it had a bama clay coating and orange G10 Mags. Are these available still? Or, a limited run?

Back in 2008, was the Skinny offered in a variety of different options? Seems most ones available on the secondary market are common coatings and micarta handles. Have any ever been released in G10 in the original run?

Heck, might as well ask - how about some pics of YOUR Skinny ASH?

Thanks!

Here's mine (w/some friends):

You understand correct. It started as a regular skinny ash and was sent in for custom modifications (not for free) to be what it is now. The same process was used to have my sage/tan canvas skinny ash turned into the bottom knife you see here. You would need to talk with Garth at the custom shop if you wanted to do something to yours.

Thanks and I'm glad I could help! The bama/pumpkin combo sure is a very different and unique look to say the least.

Wasn't the skinny ASH available only at the Company Store,
then leaked out in different flavors at shows?

Nevermind, see this is cleared up:thumbup:
