My girlfriends brother doesn't know it but her family's wanting to pay his way on a hunting trip this fall (yes i know it's late to try and book.)
the plan was moose but the area i know best (timmins/folyet area) has canceled it's moose hunt entirely this year, there will be no tags for lodges (don't get me started.) and i'm not sure he's into taking a bear which is the other area of my expertise.
So, moose, caribou, bear or otherwise. looking for new ideas for him and them. he's an avid hunter (mostly deer in southern ontario) and they're looking to send him on a bit more of a trip this year. i'd rather hear from ppl with first hand knowledge other than internet search engines.
so any "big game" hunting lodges in eastern canada any of you are familiar with that you would suggest?
please chime in with places your cousins, brothers, and friends loved.
once they pick the spot i'll start a new thread asking for specific tips on the trip and game of choice and what he should expect.
here's a picture of a knife so you all don't feel robbed by this pictureless thread haha
thanks in advance,
Russell.
