Help me with my Busse Avatar???

Here is a photo that I want to use for my avatar. How do I get it to stay a decent size, so you can see it. Some of the avatars I see are large, whenever I try to do it, it comes out too small. Thanks, porkybear....

It looks like 120 pixels wide is a big as you can get. I just e-mailed you a copy of the image at that size looks pretty good except you can't read the busse combat
