well as most here know, Busse's can certainly be adictive!

have already got evil thoughts lurkin within' the "magic kingdom" of which one next!?

i am wanting a chopper, ok sounds simple enough...lol
but, needs to be of a weight to be able to daily carry w/ camp/hunt equipment.

i had started with a ffbm, just ridiculously heavy for me, and have a skinny ash, which is my goto for most things...

need help with choosing something kinda in between them, make sense?

As mentioned above the NMSFNO would be sweet or a FSH if you can find one.

Yeah, if you wanna spend the money get a FSH; short of that, the NMSFNO is a perfect in-between blade.

A BM-e might be in order. THe lightest of the mistresses

I don't know about you, but I'm saving up for the next upcoming release. Or save up for Blade!

What KnifeHunter said,,,,,,,,,,,,,, BM-E ...if you can find one. Surprizingly light,,,,,long blade ,,,,, excellent chopper and a very comfortable handle......feels like it weighs about the same as my NMSFNO,,,,,, The NMSFNO , I believe is still available @ Busse and a non LE is reasonably priced,,,,The BM-E is old school and you'll need a keen eye on the exchange to find one. The BM-E is the one on the top and my preffered choice for what you descibed as it's use. Happy Hunting:thumbup:

CGFBM, more of a chopper then the machete like BMe and lighter then the FFBM

There is no reason not to go with the nmsfno because it has the same lenght blade as the FSH and it will be the cheapest in that size range right now. But you better hurry before the new release.

The BM-e is nothing like a machete and is a great chopper. Maybe even better than the CGFBM because it is a little lighter therefore you can swing it faster, harder and use it longer without gettting tierd.

Not seen too many machetes @ .265 thick,,,,, The BM-E is no machete,,,,and he's looking for something lighter than a regular Mistress

Bolo might fit the bill.

that is the best BME to me.

THe aftershock

Its thicker and has an amazing feel. Plus it is the only Busse to ever be sharpened on a Japanese water stone by the factory to my knowledge
