Has about a 3" blade, shaped like the C28 Dragonfly, with micarta scales. Black clip w/ yellow Spyderco emblem.Not in the 2002 catalog I can find. AUS-8 Steel

Sounds like the C52 Calypso jr

Produced in 3 versions before being discon'ed.

The Micarta version is: Aus8, 2.875", PE or SE, 6.625" overall, 2.25oz/64g, rc 58-59

I'm going from my 98 cat, don't have a 99, so I can't tell you if it's 99 or 00 discon for the Micarta.

The Micarta Calypso jr. was discontinued in 98, if I remember well. The FRN model took its place. It's a great knife, enjoy it.
