My gf just ordered me a green cqc-7. from 1sks, and Theyre backordered, I was wondering what anyone else's experience was with backorders. I wrote to, and called eki, and they gave me a non- definitive answer on the phone about availability, so I just posted to their forum. !sks was straight up with me about the delay, but I'm going out of town in 7 days, so I need to either tell them to hold it or change the address, so someone can recieve it. My question is, what has everyone's experience with hard to get knives been from dealers?

I have bought quite a few blades from 1SKS. They are strait up people to deal with. You can count on them to do their best for you. Plus, you help support this fine site by buying from their store. I figuire that even if they were a little higher on an item I wanted, I will buy from them. Bladeforums is my favorite net site, and I feel that is worth supporting! Plus, as I said, they have always taken great care of me, whenever I needed that new toy!! HeHe
