Hello. im looking for some assistance. can someone direct me in the directionn of the best place to buy kershaw/zt knives. i have several but i feel that most of the time i am being overcharged. i would love to increase my collection but i need a realiable and fair priced seller. i would appreciate any suggestions.

Really, you could use google to find the best deals. You could use froogle.com to get knives down to the lowest penny.

However, I always like to give my business to those that I know and trust as a viable part of the knife community. My business typically goes to 1sks.com which is owned by the owner of this site, or newgraham.com. The folks at New Gram have always been super nice to deal with.

Maybe you could check the for sale by dealers forum?

+1 on New Graham Knives, for Kershaw and ZT. TAD Gear is some sort of exclusive dealer for ZT's with special releases but they tend to be at list price. And as was said, try google and you'll find a lot of dealers. Stay away form Savson Swords, a lot of folks have had problems with them.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think most places charge right
at retail for the fact that part of the money goes to a special fund....??

New Graham is probably the lowest of the true "bricks and mortar" shops left. They also are a sponsor of BF. Mike, Mary Beth and Annie are great to work with...there was a thread around some time ago about a guy who had warranty problems with the manufacturer (obviously NOT a Kershaw!) and Mike posted to send the knife back to him. I think Mike sent a new one out, and handled the exchange directly. That's a top notch dealer!

I've bought from Knifecenter.com when NGK didn't have what I wanted at that exact moment. They're OK, too.

If you wander out into the vast wilderness of the www or the hellBay, be very careful whom you deal with. Ripoff cough ClassiccutleryUSA coughsellers will list a certain steel, then send you something completely different, and you're basically on your own!

I always try to stick with NGK!
