Can't decide my new EDC. I wish we could have poll's on here. Anyways, help me out. (I own all of these by the way, just need help choosing)

-Benchmade Griptilian 551S [154cm] (Partial Serrations)
-Kershaw Blur [13c26n] (Plain Edge)
-Benchmade Benchmite [AUS8] (Plain Edge)
-Buck 110 [420HC] (Plain Edge)
-Kershaw Wildcat Ridge [AUS6?] (Plain Edge)

I'd carry the last two but I already have a swisstool and swisschamp on my belt along with my cell phone case. But if you think it'd worth it maybe i'll try and find room. But i'm sure many will choose a non sheathed folder.

2nd the 110-you may also consider the new Vantage series esp the Pro
g-10 scales and s30v

I carry on my belt between 2 loops a swisschamp, swisstool and a specialized bikes tool which has allen wrenches and a flat/phillips on it. Then on my hip i carry my phone. I'm going to feel like a police officer now lol.

I'm partial to Benchmades, but prefer plain edge for EDC (or any other task), so out of those listed I'd go with the Blur, then Grip. Buck 110 is nice in many respects, just a little heavy, has no clip, and lacks the ability to be opened with one hand. That is a dealbreaker.
Benchmite is a nice back-up knife, just too small for my EDC needs. Wildcat Ridge's steel wouldn't cut it for me, so it's out of the question.

I would take either the Blur or Grip.

I might lean more towards the Grip so you dont have to worry about broken torsion bars.

Have both.. like the Grip over the Blur.. don't get serrations any way you go.

Dude not to be an ass but it seems like I have read at least a dozen of these threads that are all very similar posing the question what to carry out of your collection.

They are all decent knives just carry what makes you happy. Not carrying the right combo one day is not going to lead to the Apocalypse. Just by carrying anything you are ahead of 95% of the people out there on any given day.

I think you just need to enjoy having your tools than spending so much time freaking out about what you are going to carry.

If you are that worried about it pack a back pack to carry with you which contains all your knives. Then they will always be close by...

:foot::eek::rolleyes:

Why blur before grip? I figured most would choose grip because of the blade materials.

13C26 isn't a slouch. I DO prefer the 154CM steel on the Grip, but beyond that it has nothing on the remainder of the Blur.

You would be hard pressed to find a knife that carries better in the pocket than the Blur, its a handful, but its slim. Kershaw packs alot of blade, with great belly, into that handle. Its super light and strong, and its AO that can be opened from any orientation. It really has zero bad qualities. Get one in S60V or CPM154...

CPM154 > 154CM

Omega springs won't be mailed to your house with zero hassle for you to repair it immediately :)

That would be a hard choice for me between the Blur and the Grip. In the end I would probably take the Blur but just barely. I like the Grip a lot.

There is always the option of carrying both of them. ;)

Seriously, I like having one knife with a plain edge and one that is all or partial serrations. Generally the one with serrations is the junker and the plain edged one is one of my expensive babies.

Eh. I just like to change it up sometimes and if i cant decide i just ask here. I make enough significant posts to others to be allowed a dumb post every once in a while. I also like seeing peoples preferences. As for my grip, i heard rants and raves here and i too prefer plain edge but i remembered when i was younger and had a bm p.s. So i decide to get p.s.. It was all the shop had for grips. I ended up taking the blur. I think if i grow a pair and use it ill love it. I had a crkt m16 i loved and had no problem with an i believe this knives steel is better. If i had a grip in d2 plain edge with the hole i wouldnt have an issue choosing. I want to carry the benchmite but i feel like its too small for some reason. Its a nice gentlemans knife though. My girlfriend thinks its cute lol.
