I have in my possession what I believe to be a 1 of 15 Manual Microtech Socom. I'm fairly certain based on a list I found from another forum which details rare microtechs that the folder is the 1 of the 14/15.
Description:
- Black Aluminum Handle with rubber (not grip tape) inserts.
- Claw Emblem engraved on black blade
- Date: 08/2002 and S90V also engraved on blade
- Clip is tip down carry
I don't have the original box but do have the original inspection bag. I'm getting some mixed messaging on the value and am wondering if any forums members have seen this knife sell, own one, or have an experienced opinion on its potential value? Or any other pertinent info that can be shared. I'm also interested in acquiring a box if anybody an point in the direction of that unusual request.
I have a small Microtech Collection and this knife is certainly my Crowning Jewel, but it would be nice to know its value and more details. I received the knife from a friend who deals in volume and owned the knife since 2002, but never carried or used it, so it's in pristine condition. Any thoughts or opinions are very much appreciated!
