Help - My super cqc7 blade is rubbing against the liner lock

Help - My super cqc7 blade is rubbing against the liner lock. Part of the ceramic finish has worn off

at the flat ground side of the blade near the tip. Black is showing up under the satin ceramic finish.

My knife (2005 date stamped on blade) is brand new, never sharpened, never carried, never used. I have

not adjusted the pivot screw.

try and tighten the pivot screw a bit. if that doesnt work, it is improperly aligned and needs to be sent back.

Mine does it too. I just tighten the pivot screw and it fixes it.

I think it's the nature of the knife.

most liner locks will rub if the pivot is too loose.

I have more than a dozen liners and none of them rub.

loosen up the pivot and see if they dont rub, i probably have had 10 dozen liner locks lol FWIW,

I had to tighten my pivot screw to stop it from rubbing, every knife if differnt i guess. Good Luck J
