they are both for sale for the same price.

help please i know spydercos are good knifes but apart from that -----------
which one is the best 2 go for/ or avoid.

If that GIN-1 Navigator has black G-10 scales, I would get that. Those are pretty rare these days, especially in plain edge.
You can get a Delica everywhere...

its the alu handle.
i love the look of both of them. just dont know which one to go for.

The knives are slightly different sizes. Which size appeals to you?
Also, the navigator is discontinued in all its forms, so it would be harder to find later.

The best way is to try them both in your hand and see which one fits better and which one you will be most comfortable with in your pocket.

If the knife is going to see a lot of use then the VG-10 Delica will hold its edge longer, but the Navigator, in spite of its small size, will be more comfortable. Bear in mind that plain edge blades are rather easy to sharpen, and GIN-1 holds and edge very well, just not quite as well as VG-10. But also weigh the fact that there is really nothing that a two inch blade can do that a three inch one cannot, while there are things where the smaller blade will be a handicap.

If it will see a lot of pocket time, and especially if you carry in a back pocket, the Delica's FRN handle and rounded hump will cause less wear and tear than the angular hump and rather "pointy" ends of the Navigator. Yet, those same points that chew up your pocket make the Navigator both comfortable and secure to hold.

If you want the knife least likely to frighten the faint hearted, then the Navigator has the dual advantages of smaller size and more benign color. As you said, both are well made knives, so it really comes down to which size suits your needs better.

very true both sounds good. but iv got my money set on another knife a TOPS . the spide is in the shop 2 and at that price could not refuse.
but iv made my mind up the delica it is.
thanks for the help

Hi edd , good choice, but u might sscrap out every penny in your pants and closets and get the navigator too. They are more rare and maybe u will regret it later. The problem with Spyderco is that once u bought one u seem to be willing to buy another one. Get the aviator, maybe even go a little over your budget, and if u realy don't like it u can always sell it on Ebay and make a few bucks to ad to the TOPS. ;)

hello goin down 2 get it this week but iv taken a shine to the para military. help what do i do????
forget about the other 2 or ????
