Guys, I have several Bucks that I want to post, but before I do that I'd like to learn more about approximately when they were made so I can advertise them correctly. I have boxes for all of these too if that helps date them. Any hints are appreciated!

Bill

The 107 is worthless - but if you want to get rid of it, I'll pay the postage to me.....:D -

Actually, these are ALL pretty nice knives/axes and this is THE place to get the right answers. I am sure someone who knows much more than I do will be along shortly and help you appraise these.

Good Luck on selling them!!! ;)

Two-liners (marked BUCK / U.S.A.) were made from approx. 1967/68 through approx. 1971. Three liners with no year mark were made from approx. late 1971 until 1986 when year marks were added.

The rosewood 106 probably is from the mid-1980s. I do not have my reference material at hand and my memory is fuzzy. I will check back in on this later and if no definitive answer has been posted, I will try to be more specific.

Larry, thank you! That's a big help knowing when the "3 liners" showed up. That helps a great deal.

re: Rosewood 106
I checked my catalogs and in 1983, the first reference was made about the 106 having handle slabs of impregnated birch. The picture is not in color, but the description is strong evidence that the switch from micarta to rosewood colored slabs happened about that time.
Hope this is helpful!
