Help needed from Rusty (I think..)

Sorry to bother you,
I'm trying to get a picture of a HI special production piece, which I think you have or you may have posted about it. I do not remember the name, but it is an all metal indian dagger, with a wavy blade and a rather beautiful mounting with integral hilt and guard. I tried a search but with no results.

The Bagh Marne ( tiger killer? ) or maybe one of the khanjarlis may be what you are thinking of.
 
Is this it? I am amazed I could find it without Berk's help.

I got the bagh marne from the FAQ page, its the khanjarlis I'm looking for. Our radio officer (Indian) agreed to go on a search mission when he will be on leave. I need the pix to give him the right input, as they are always worth a thousand words.

Actually I prefer the bottom one or the one in between, depends on perspective.;)

What's the chances bro if enough of us sign up?
I know they're a pain in the posterior, but I think everyone would be willing to pay a little extra to make it worth H.I.'s time, that is unless they were priced totally out of sight of course.:D

And I'm sure that Rusty would jump on one of these as well. Make them about the same thickness of the M-43 now that we know the kamis can do it.:D:D:D:D
 
We got a bunch of M-43s and Falcatas on back order. I hate to throw another special run into the works, especially right before Dasein. Maybe later this year.

I had much rather have a maybe than a flat out NO!!!!:D
And like I said, "I know these are a pain in the posterior, but.."
And Rusty and myself do know just how much trouble these have been in the past, but perhaps with the kamis at BirGhorka now they won't be as tough to make, hopefully.
The one in the center in your attached pic above is the one of my choice but I would reluctantly go with whatever the majority chose just to get one. The center one sorta reminds me of what used to be known as a Serpentine Bowie and now is called a recurved blade.
It doesn't have much, just enough to be very sexy looking and I'm betting it would be the most weapon oriented of the two!!!!:)
Should be one helluva fighter as well!!!!:cool: :D
 
Are those handle configurations what we really want? Personally, I'd like a handle that was more user friendly.

Bro I'm with you to a point. I really like the "D" guard effect, but that rather large disk at the pommel would make the knife a non-user pretty quick I think.
We can discuss this now or wait until you think the kamis have the time to start on these and come to a final decision then. I think the latter would be better as Rusty, myself and no doubt a couple of others won't let you forget.;) :D

But I'm easy and will go along with either way.:D
