I have just purchased an old khukuri for my collection. It has markings on the blade and the scabbard. The blade has a number of markings on it - "DHW" in one place, an "I broad arrow C", "1919", a "25", and an upside down "11". The scabbard has a broad arrow , AO, Crown D, and W marked on it. I realise it is probably an old military khukuri and that it probably dates from 1919, but am unsure what all the other markings mean. Can anyone provide information on what all these markings might mean?

Glenn,
Sounds like this was stamped at 2 different times which is quite common.

Need pictures to make a good id. Anything on the grip or scabbard?

If you can't post a pic, just send them to me directly and I'll try to give you an answer.

John,

Couldn't post a picture of the markings on the Cantina so sent you a email with a photo attached. Thanks for your help.
