I have an old, Kabar style, Camillus knife
In addition to the Camillus, NY markings it has word "Shwerpunkt" etched on the blade - looks to be a factory marking.
The word "Shwerpunkt" means "gravity point" in German, but the knife is just a regular fixed blade.
Any idea what that means?

Sorry guys, my bad, it is "ScHwerpunkt".
I am not sure how to place a picture here, it says that I am not allowed to place an attachment.
The knife does look like a generic ka-bar type and the word "Schwerpunkt" (see I am learning) is etched in the "blood groove" area
(big letters, like 1/2").
Thanx.

If you have the pic saved to a online web picture service, then just click on the square looking item in the quick reply box.

Your knife probably commemorates that 100 hour event in 1991.

Thanks for the info but the knife looks much older than 1991 - more like WWII or Vietnam era type
