Help needed with Sebenza serial no.

Fans of the Sebenza or Chris Reeve Knives may be able to help decode the serial number on my Sebenza.

Large Micarta with Serrations: number etched on inside of handle is "B 05".

Would anyone be able to tell me the meaning? What does the "B" mean, and how does the "05" relate?

As far as I know the letter stands for the quarter of the year. "B" being march to june (2nd quarter). The number stands for the year, 05 = 2005.

That being said, its not really a serial number as you can see. It only determines when the parts were being made. The birth certificate sports the assembly date ... .
