Well after a long search for a Zero Tolerance 0300 in black with the plain blade.. ...one of my relatives was so kind to buy me a knife ....but now i am a little nervous...another friend tells me any Zero Tolerance knife that has the XXXX on the blade is a blem and any blem has no warranty and is bought as is....and they are sold much less cost....did they get taken?....i am told they got it from Ebay so i think they are covered....and i told them to contact the seller to find out....any help will so be appreciated...thanks in advance God Bless John

your friend is correct no warranty on blems. if you go to zt's warranty site then ou can read it. there is nothing wrong with a blem other than no warranty.if you got it cheap enough I wouldn't worry about it if you paid full price then you got taken.if it was noted it has xxxx and was described as a blem you may not be covered by ebay.

well sadly they paid full price..but i just got a email as the seller was totally unaware and has cancelled the sale and apologized....so i am very happy...the listing clearly stated NEW no mention of a blem...how much less should a blem be?.....thank u so much for the info...i will have to thank my friend for his keen eyes....God Bless John

go to the kershaw guys site and look at the blems, it will give you an idea of fair pricing on blems. a blem in zt isn't a very bad thing it just reflects no warranty they usually have a small issue somewhere you would need a magnifier to see anyway. I would look close on the 0350 with m390 blade he has while you are browsing the 0300 is discontinued anyway from what I am told so even with a new one the warranty would be fairly limited, I don't even know if you could get the blade replaced or not. the 0350 is just a bit smaller than the 300 and a lot less money 0300's are going around 375. so that said I wouldn't pay full price for a blem. the 0350 is just a more pocket friendly 0300 scaled back 10 percent I think was what I read. 3 3/4 on the 0300 vs 3 1/4 on the 0350

so just so i am clear....a blem should be about 1/3 or half the cost of a new one?...i see on the ZT website...a blade replacement is just 30.00 if u have the warranty....i thought it would be free ....i will look at the kershaw guys site again....thank u again so much...God Bless John...

blad replacement under warranty is free, that said if you break or want a new blade it is 30.00 I just sent one back to have a blade replaced, went out yesterday I don't know if it will be warranty or cost but for a new blade I will pay 30.00, I cant buy another zt for that. something was wonky on the ht I think it was s30v and my cheaper kershaws held a better edge. I sharpened it 4 times and never got the edge my other zts had. I own 5 now and have owned over 25 so one bad blade out of 25 aint bad. the part about warranty on whether a blad is replaced free or not is confusing to us but probally after this blade is done I will have a better understanding of how it works. it could have simply been a bad run of steel. I don't think I have ever saw a blem down as much as 1/2 price though in the zt's the kershaws may have been though. I would keep check with dave he may get something in you want. of all mine the 0777 is my favorite with the0770 a second, the 0777 is a wall piece to me the grail of knives. I refuse to carry it the 0770 however while smaller is my edc now. I cant post pics here but the 0777 you see at the top of daves site is almost exact to mine. I have been offered much more than I paid for it and it will be mine until I die.dave has a 0300 listed I think I saw one there, if your friend paid full price he probally would get as good a deal from dave and you wouldn't have to worry about it being legit or not. I have bought knives from him and would recommend him to anyone.
