A doctor friend of mine does repeat tours in Iraq as an expert surgeon. Just returned with a deadly case of TB.

I woulod like you to pray for him, this is a good man and deserves the blessings that your prayers can bring.

My best wishes are with him. I hope that he can recover soon.

I had TB as a young man, but it was diagnosed early so all I had to do was take three big blue pills a day for a year. I got it from my dad, who had it it much worse. He had to stay in a sanatorium for a year. It is a terrible disease.

May he thrive like my great-uncle Simon, who got tuberculosis as a young man and was told he wouldn't survive. I remember him in his 90s.
